Our Purpose is to provide evidenced based exercise prescription and education to help people achieve their health and well-being goals while providing a positive, inclusive environment for our community.
MEET OUR TEAM

Shaneen has been practicing as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in the Mackay region for over 15 years and has grown LifeInMotion to a renowned allied health business. She has extensive experience in Cardiac Rehabilitaiton from her 10 years working as a Cardiac Rehab and Heart Failure Specialist at the Mackay Base Hospital. In addition, Shaneen has always had a passionate interest in the role that exercise plays for the management of diabetes and has recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education. ‘Exercise is Medicine’ is what she preaches in her practice and aims to provide the necessary education to all her patients about how correctly prescribed and monitored physical activity can help improve chronic health conditions and wellbeing.

Kira completed her Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2022. She has an invested interest in neuromuscular exercise therapy and has completed her level 2 in Neuroplasticity in Parkinson’s Disease. Since joining LifeInMotion, she has developed a passion for the delivery and management of evidenced-based exercise prescription for those living with a disability and musculoskeletal injury. She understands that every individual is unique and seeks to create a positive, inclusive environment for her clients, no matter their age or ability.
